Late Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy was born in an agricultural family from a village called Nagineniprolu Reddypalem of Burgampahad Mandal, Khammam District. Ever since his school days he has a dream of providing educational facilities to the rural people particularly for the students of this agency area. Even during his college days, as a student he guided so many co-students and juniors who are in need of educational support due to various reasons.

After completion of his formal studies, having understood the need of education to the youth, he dreamt of providing different levels of education to the student community of this rural area who were devoid of proper educational facilities. Late Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy took the initiative and established a Society in the name and style of “BOON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT & RURAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY” aimed at holistic development of the rural area.

For 37 remarkable years, the KLR Group of Institutions has been a beacon of knowledge, shaping futures with unwavering dedication.

Dr. KLR envisioned an institution where students grow not just academically, but as confident, innovative, and socially responsible individuals. His mission extended beyond classrooms, aiming to create a better society. Over the years, we’ve embraced challenges as steppingstones, turning them into opportunities for growth.

In all the achievements of the Society, there lies the workmanship of the present President of the Society, Late Dr.K.Lakshma Reddy. Late Dr.K.Lakshma Reddy has a vast experience in running educational institutions right from the year 1988. With noble idea of bringing the higher education closure to the rural student community of the place, he has started this Society along with other eminent people of the place, having same ideology of rural development, as office bearers of the Society. The Society believes in imparting the education with proper planning and execution of the same in practical.

As we look ahead, our mission remains clear: to equip every student with the tools to change the world. The KLR legacy is a testament to enduring commitment, and together, we continue to shape a brighter future.
